The Printmaker’s Inn offers a charming and historically rich experience in Savannah, consistently praised for its cleanliness, spacious accommodations, and convenient location. Guests especially appreciate the unique character of the buildings, friendly host, and a comfortable, walkable exploration of the city’s historic district.
Traveling as a family of 5 with 3 kids under 6 we rented the suit. We loved how clean and spacious it all was. Having bedrooms that separate from the living room and kitchen area was great for parents to relax while the kids slept. No issues with parking and it was super well located for all of our activities. Peter was a great host. Communication was easy and smooth. He made us feel so welcomed. Hoghly recommend
We stayed 3 nights at the Printmaker's Inn in the Lt. Galloway room. Fun period details mixed with modern conveniences like an updated bathroom, coffeemaker, and fridge were great. If you like to walk like we do, it's a really wonderful place to stay. The northern historic Savannah sights are within a 20-30 min walk from this location. Easy parking with level 2 chargers and a lovely courtyard if you want to drive. Bottom line—it's quiet, restful, fun/different from a corporate hotel, and a great value.
First time in Savannah, and the Printmaker’s Inn did not disappoint! Clean, spacious, and full of charm, this inn gave us the true Savannah experience. Peter stayed in touch throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. Parking was easy, both in the back and on the street, and the location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to Forsyth Park for a lovely afternoon stroll or to brunch at Collins Quarter. Our first day was rainy, but that only added to the authentic charm. Looking out the tall windows onto the picturesque street below gave us a cozy, Savannah feel that a hotel simply can’t match. We stayed in the Nichols Suite, which was perfect for our long weekend getaway. The bed was super comfy, the space was welcoming, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. This will definitely be our go-to stay whenever we come back to Savannah!
We recently stayed at the Printmaker’s Inn, Nichols House for our first trip to Savannah and couldn’t have been more pleased. We wanted to feel the history of this beautiful city and our suite added to that vibe. We chose to stay in the High Cotton Suite. It offered an enclosed back porch, where I could sip my coffee and admire the beautiful courtyard. Note, the porch is not air conditioned but felt comfortable on a summer morning. The charm, decor, and attention to period detail was amazing. I often thought about the people that lived there so long ago and what their life was like in the home, especially as we rocked on the front wrap around porch enjoying the summer breeze. Forsyth Park was only a couple of blocks away and most everything was in walking distance. We felt safe in the area walking day or night. There is free parking in back with many security cameras set up. Pete, our host, was very gracious and met us as we arrived. He was available throughout our stay.
Honeymooned in the Bellingham suite here- spacious, clean, and great location. The family who owns the property and lives on site are real people, not a corporation. They were gracious hosts that responded quickly and was happy to chat without being intrusive. We will be back.
The place is clean, comfortable, and more charming and authentic than most others. I especially appreciated the location - close to a huge park, and in a real neighborhood with a mix of housing types, a short walk to neighborhood restaurants and a natural food store, etc. Just a 10-minute walk from more touristy places, but a world away from them psychologically. Great choice if you want to get a sense of what it might be like to live in this city.
Service was the best, it was our first time visiting Savannah and Pete the owner gave us fantastic recommendations. Walking was easy from here to downtown with plenty to see along the way. Thank you very much for your hospitality!
Highly recommend the Printmaker’s Inn — especially if you are interested in a real, *authentic* Savannah experience. The oldest house in Savannah! The property is meticulously preserved & maintained, lots of old world charm, and in a great location to everything. Great bed, updated bathroom, and unique architecture features in the room. I highly recommend staying here.
A friend and I stayed in the Button Suite for 4 nights. Very large, comfortable suite with 2 large private bedrooms. We loved sitting on the covered porch. Everything was very clean and decorated to match the era of the home. Highly recommended!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Printmaker's inn. We stayed for 2 nights in March. The owner, Pete, is very kind, helpful, and generous. He truly went above and beyond to make sure that we felt at home and that our stay was comfortable and stress-free. I have a lot of great things to share, so I simply listed them below: - Check in was easy and simple. I recommend to go through the back entrance. - Parking was just behind the property, and there were more than enough parking spots during our stay. - We stayed in the High Cotton Suite and I personally was in awe of just how spacious it was. We went up a set of stairs which led us to a private wing on the second floor -- complete with our own private hallway, living room, enclosed balcony, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. None of the areas are shared with other guests (which was awesome for us). - The suite was very well decorated. Very cozy and inviting. - The stairs were not a problem for us. With just a bit of teamwork, we were able to carry up 2 small and 1 big luggage - The location is a few blocks from Forsyth Park, and is very walkable (we walked everywhere!!). There is even a free public bus that can take you out on a certain route and distance. Plus, Savannah is such a charming city full of beautiful parks, historical sites, and unique architecture. Walking from the inn to the other main attractions in the city is a great way to experience all of this. - We felt completely safe walking in the area, even late at night. The area is very quiet. - The suite was clean. The bed was soft and comfortable. There were water bottles in the fridge and coffee + condiments in the kitchen. - The hot water was consistently hot, and the water pressure was good. It was chilly during our visit, so this was very much appreciated. - Pete was very friendly and responsive over email and text. We felt supported throughout our stay. - We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Savannah, and we have already started to recommend this wonderful inn to family and friends. We are so thankful to have experienced a piece of Savannah's history by staying at the Printmaker's Inn ?
