This hotel may be a little outdated, but that’s part of its charm. It was clean, comfortable, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made our stay enjoyable. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the beach, with plenty of great restaurants and shopping nearby. Everything we wanted was within easy reach, making it easy to relax and explore the area. If you’re looking for a luxurious, modern resort, this may not be it, but if you appreciate a cozy, charming place in an amazing location, this hotel is definitely worth considering. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. Sue was so friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with a smile. The housekeeping team did an outstanding job keeping our room spotless and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return!

Stayed here as a last minute night away not far from home. We didn't mind the older vibe of the rooms. Kitchen was weird as half of the cabinet doors and some drawers were all open and wouldn't close. Could be cleaner - you can tell the floor isn't kept up in between guests. Bathroom seemed clean. NOW FOR THE ISSUE: we get in the clean bed and at the bottom only where our feet were it was super sandy. Like someone got in the bed to lay down with their dirty feet. We checked in late and office was closed when we found out, but upon checking out the next morning I mentioned it to the nice lady at the front desk and she said she was the one that cleaned and made up that particular bedroom and she knew it was clean. She also said sorry. That is was it. A shrug of the shoulders and sorry. The thought of how the sand got there has me baffled. Def wouldn't say here again. No compassion. They obviously don't have a plan down on how to handle situations like that. Beautiful sunset though right around the corner at the pier. Main street with all the people hanging out and eating and drinking and having a good time is a block away. I wish the bed didn't have sand in it. =((

We were so happy with this motel. Starting from meeting Susan for check in. She is so sweet and very helpful. The location of the motel was perfect! Near the pier, restaurants, and shops. I booked 2 rooms for my family and myself. My daughters room was a little bigger but had cute bedspreads and good floor plan for the 2 adults and 2 kids. Only issue was their tv didn't work. We never said anything until checkout because we were so busy with beach and eating for supper. My room was very comfortable. One thing I did tell Susan was they needed dead bolt or another lock on doors. Only a regular lock was on the doors and we were kind of nervous about the regular door lock due to security nowadays. The parking was perfect by being off the main road. We were able to park our big truck and big suv without any issues! We will return in the future.

the staff here was very friendly and professional! we checked in late at night and the woman in the office called me just before arrival to give me proper instructions just like she said she would and i appreciated that. the room is cute, cozy and clean. there were 2 dead water/palmetto bugs but it didn’t bother me too much. the beach, shops, and food/bars are walking distance so that was nice. great place for a weekend getaway :) also… the cute puppy in the office definitely needs a raise lol ?

Not fancy but quirky and affordable local place with loads of personality. Short walk to beach, pier and all the restaurants, bars, and shops of the south end. Friendly hotel dog. Have stayed here twice. No pool but guests here are allowed access to several nearby hotel pools, which was a nice surprise.

Been there a few times but the room we stayed in this past time was the best time we have had! The heart shaped hot tub was amazing. The room could use some updates especially the air conditioner. Thanks Susan for the awesome hospitality.

Let me you tell i was in a bind for work here on the island, the mangers Mr.J and (Gunny the golden doodle) and Mrs.Sue competely went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. Inn isn't perfect bit its cozy but the service 10/10. They are also in the process of remodeling the 3rd story witch is gonna me cats Meow when its done. Let them know your needs and they care for you and over foot the with true southren hospitality.

Great little pet friendly hotel. We stayed in room 19, it was a huge room , on the bottom floor with a large bathroom. The location is perfect. We were 300 feet away from all the bars, Doc's, Bernies, Nickis and the beach was only one block away.. wonderful stay with a great location.. cant wait to go back

Honestly, I was very nervous because of the bad reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. When checking in, the lady walked me to my room. I stayed in Room 7 and had to walk to the other side, which I didn’t mind—it actually felt more secluded. Everything, including the beach and the bars, was very close and within walking distance, which I loved. I did get to meet the infamous dog, but he didn’t smell—at least not to me—and my room was very clean. I’m happy to report there was no odor at all. I would love to come back soon, and the price was pretty good for three nights. I think it was around $200 for a room right on the beach, which is a great deal.(Plus we got a nice heart shaped Jacuzzi in are room which I absolutely loved )

Nice staff, very basic rooms. I had a kitchen- which is great if you want to bring food. The bathroom had not one, but two levels of steps, once when you walk into the bathroom and the second step up is where the toilet is. Not a good option if one is elderly, disabled or handicapped. I actually fell coming out of the bathroom in the middle of the night because I forgot a step. Banged my head, hand and elbow up are pretty good from the fall. They do not serve breakfast, so there are other hotel options around that do include breakfast. The rooms were very clean, but the outside could use some attention.
