The Holiday Inn & Suites Savannah Airport generally receives positive feedback due to its cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient location near shopping and restaurants. However, recent reviews highlight concerns about inconsistent service, outdated amenities, and occasional cleanliness issues, particularly regarding room conditions and the shuttle service.
Outstanding hotel in the Savannah area. From the lobby to the rooms, everything was spotless, it looked clean and smelled amazing. The front desk attendants were very helpful and friendly. The bar and their service were great, the bartender was very sweet and welcoming. I purchased the breakfast add on and I will say, that it wasn’t quite worth it, $14.99 for your basic hotel breakfast foods is insane, I travel for work, and I’m always staying in hotels, and I promise you, it’s the same breakfast other hotels give you for free. Liquid eggs, paper thin bacon, rock hard biscuits and canned gravy, nothing special. But if you’re looking for a clean hotel with friendly service and a great bar, you will certainly be pleased here!
My Family and I needed a place to stay for the weekend and every place I called had me speaking to a robot. I was glad to get a human with this holiday inn. Their phone people, I am assuming front desk all were so kind and helpful. Room was clean and all amenities that we needed were there. Breakfast was perfect, we just needed to get some food in our stomachs to fuel us, and it was great. The bacon was my favorite. All around great hotel, great service, great people working there.
We were traveling on I-95 and chose this hotel at the last minute. The front desk staff were wonderful and very helpful. Our room was very comfortable with plenty of space and a very comfortable bed. There is a bar with t v's and a menu to order food.So we just stayed there for the evening rather than going out as we were tired. It's a great location right off the interstate but very quiet and surrounded by great shopping and plenty of restaurants. We definitely would stay there again while traveling.
This place is really nice. Exceptionally clean, with comfy beds. The staff are very nice people. Breakfast was good. All in all, a very nice overnight for the price
Called to ask if they had rooms available and was transferred to their booking line. They confirmed a king room and offered a rollaway bed. I booked over the phone. When I checked in they confirmed they would bring a rollaway bed. I waited up until midnight and the bed never came. There are 100 hotels in the area and we would have HAPPILY stayed somewhere else if this holiday inn could not accommodate us. What a SCAM. The only saving grace was the morning attendant who was kind and apologized for the inconvenience with a $30 discount. This place sucks.
This place is dirty and the smell of the room is disgusting. We walked in our room after a long drive at midnight and found a pullout bed with no sheets or blankets anywhere to be found covered in stains. The last thing I wanted to do at midnight is wait in the lobby for 40 minutes for Someone to get me Sheets and a pillow. The room was filthy and full of stains. Bathroom smelled like someone just took a hot poop and the rest of the room was musty.
We chose this location because it stated it had a shuttle to the airport. We made sure that we had a shuttle for 7am. The shuttle apparently came from a different hotel and was 30 minutes late. Although we still made it to the airport with enough time. The whole shuttle process was not a good experience. Our driver, grace, was amazing though. The hotel itself was great. The Front desk staff was amazing. The room was comfy. Everything in that end was good.
Let me start by saying the staff was very friendly and kind, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the condition of the room. After a long day of travel that included a cancelled flight, I was completely exhausted. When I finally arrived and walked into the room, I noticed food on the floor. I figured maybe the vacuuming had just been missed. But then I went into the bathroom and found hair all over the toilet—it was clear it hadn’t been properly cleaned. That’s when I started to feel uneasy and checked the beds. One had a red stain on it, the pillows had black streaks, and there was hair between the comforter and sheets on both beds (I had a two-king room). I texted the provided number to let them know the room was dirty, but it was late, and I was too exhausted to deal with it further. I wish I’d brought it up in person, but at that point, I just didn’t have the energy. To make things a bit more frustrating, my receipt at checkout showed $179.02, but my bank is now showing a charge of $204. I’m not sure what the difference is, but either way, it feels like a steep price for a room that wasn’t properly cleaned.
Great location right off 95 with a ton of restaurants nearby at Tangier Outlets. Room was clean and pleasant... There were two drawbacks though ... Whoever had the room above us had the TV extremely loud till 3AM and you could easily hear it clear as day.... should have called front desk to complain but turned up AC to drown out the noise instead. The breakfast was NOT included... Can't remember staying at a I-95 pit stop hotel without the Continental breakfast but I have now....free coffee though. I guess with all the nearby restaurants why bother with the freebie? Anyhow it would have been a nice perk for an IHG member
I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn & Suites, and I have to give a special shoutout to Malaysia—she was absolutely amazing! From the moment I checked in, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her warm smile, professionalism, and attention to detail made me feel right at home. You can tell she truly cares about the guests and takes pride in her work. It’s rare to come across someone with her level of hospitality and heart. Holiday Inn is lucky to have her on the team. Thank you, Malaysia, for making my stay so memorable!
