I highly recommend this hotel the rooms are spacious and clean the staff is very friendly and self-sufficient and the staff is always there to help Dee is a real sweetheart she checks people in and out efficiently and promptly; whenever you need anything and try to fix any problem that occurs. I really enjoy being here, the employees are very nice and welcoming. The rooms and comfortable and safe for my dog to be in and the location is perfect and quiet.
First off, I don’t have a choice and knew hotel is a 2 star. Because I wanted to close to Forstyh Park about 5 miles. Checked in after 3pm, however front desk said I have to wait until at 4…what? Online said checking in at 3pm or later…at 4pm. I came again and other front desk who set room is ready. Noticed that door look damaged. Then entered the room not impressed…just look at those pictures. Also street too busy.
Wonderful extended-stay hotel. New management has been put in place, which has made a big difference. The hotel is a lot cleaner and has a much better curb appeal. Shout out to Mrs. April, Kenya, and all the other staff members. Thanks for everything you all do to make this a better living experience.
Mrs. April Gordon has been an amazing addition to the team since becoming General Manager. She works hard every day to make sure both her team and the guests receive professional, accurate, and friendly service. Even though there’s still more to accomplish, she’s made a great start in turning this place into a true home for long-term residents and a welcoming spot for short-term guests too.
Beware of False Advertising and Poor Management – AVOID at All Costs My boyfriend and I booked a stay at the WoodSpring Suites in Garden City/Savannah this past Saturday, thinking we had scored a good deal on a hotel undergoing renovations. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but that. At first glance, the exterior looked decent—clean parking lot, conveniently located near the places we wanted to explore. But things quickly went downhill once we stepped inside. There was no air conditioning in the lobby, and the small check-in area left little room for guests to wait comfortably. While we waited to be helped, the guests in front of us were actively canceling their reservation. We overheard them insisting they shouldn’t be charged, which raised an eyebrow, but we tried not to judge the situation prematurely. Once it was our turn, the front desk associate—who was kind and trying her best—shared that the previous guests were unhappy with their room selection. We asked whether our room had been renovated, and she offered to show us a couple of options. Both rooms were extremely underwhelming and looked nothing like the photos online. They were outdated, worn down, and simply not up to the standard we were expecting. We decided it would be best to cancel and find another place to stay. Because we had booked through a third-party site, we were told that the hotel would need to initiate the cancellation. That’s when the situation took a turn for the worse. My boyfriend went in first to explain, and got nowhere. When I followed up and asked to speak with the General Manager, the front desk said she was “walking the property” and checking on vacancies. This already felt like a red flag—if staff can’t make decisions about cancellations, then addressing a customer concern should take precedence. About 30 minutes later, the General Manager finally appeared. Without so much as a greeting or introduction, she immediately sat at her computer and said, “You have to cancel 48 hours before check-in.” No empathy, no willingness to listen, just a cold, dismissive attitude. I politely asked if we could speak privately, and she flat-out refused—then went as far as to threaten to call the police on us. I was absolutely shocked. To make matters worse, we had already witnessed another guest cancel on the same day without issue—so clearly, they can make exceptions when they choose to. While the initial associate tried to be helpful and understanding, the experience with the GM was appalling. I sincerely hope the young lady at the front desk is able to teach her GM a thing or two about professionalism and empathy. The rooms are nothing like what’s shown online—those images appear to be AI mockups but extremely outdated in person. This is false advertising at its worst. If you’re considering this place, do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. The owners and management should be ashamed.
BEWARE THEY KEEP DELETING THIS AND OTHER POOR REVIEWS AND THE PICTURES WE POSTED OF THE ROACHES!!! DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE!!! The description and pictures are EXTREMELY misleading. The pictures advertise that they are super clean and even have fake pictures of cleaners fake steam pressing the beds and sheets. I arrived in my room only to find no cabinets, no shower curtain and a complete INFESTATION of German roaches. And I mean moms, dads, grandmas grandpas uncles, aunts, cousins, babies… All the roaches.. I have many pics and videos there is no way anyone with a conscience can sleep there. We went to see if we could get a new room (even though we didn’t want one we knew they didn’t refund) but no one is at the front desk from 10-6. So we had to pack up and leave after driving straight through from MASSACHUSETTS TO SAVANNAH GEORGIA and find a new hotel. Almost 3 weeks later I haven’t heard from the manager and I can’t get a refund for somewhere I didn’t stay. Don’t lose your money or your sanity staying here.
We got to them room and immediately started looking for somewhere else to stay. Do not recommend for a trip with family. A single guy for work maybe.
new company high prices NASTY/ RUDE and SNEAKY NEW MANAGEMENT !!!! they close the office early and open late not even doing proper protocol!!! when they are open they’ll be on their phones talking loud or watching videos like we disturb them. not to mention they don’t knock when they need to enter the room just use that management power and welcome themselves in WHILE I HAD NO CLOTHES ON LAYING IN BED!!!!! i cannot believe the people they hire now a days ?? disgusted and disappointed
