Don’t let all these 5 star reviews fool you! I regularly stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels due to being a loyal IHG rewards member, this hotel needs room upgrades starting with the showers. The shower heads are falling off the wall, poor water pressure and the head itself is about 5 ft off the ground. The rooms are also not cleaned properly (I’ve attached photos). I was assigned room 216, however I asked to be moved to another room and was assigned room 222. Both rooms had the same issues. Also the receptionist couldn’t care less about my complaints and just said I should have said something sooner so they could “clean” room 216 for another guest. The photos I attached are from a “clean” room. Only highlights about this hotel are the beds are decent and the breakfast is average. If you’re looking for a Holiday Inn Express in Savannah, choose another one.

We were greeted each time we passed by the front desk. Parking was good and had spaces for those pulling trailers. The rooms was a nice size and very clean. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, tea, and coffee provided in the room. The shower (pressure) is amazing ;). Complimentary breakfast was fine for the circumstances. Used the treadmill with no issues.

We regulary choose to stay at Holiday Inn Express and Suite hotels. We find them very satisfactory. However, we would not stay again at the Savannah Chatham Parkway hotel because there appears to be a fundamental problem with heating the lobby and breakfast area. Very bad first impression. The lobby was so COLD that reception staff wore outdoor clothing, morning and night. It was too cold to eat in the breakfast area. The heating system was not broken. This was a problem with design, including windows that weren't of good enough quality or were poorly installed. I expect this is an expensive problem to fix. But IHG has the resources to remedy this problem. Customers, and staff, deserve much better.

Easily accessible hotel in Savannah. Rooms are clean and modern, including the bathroom with walk-in shower. Staff were friendly and positive. Free cookies at bedtime!! Walking distance to restaurants.

These ladies were so friendly and customer service was top notch! We had a clogged toilet and the evening desk clerk came and plunged the toilet herself even though we were willing to do it ourself! Santa greeted us in the lobby and we got our family santa photos. The only one will get while on our month long road trip. Thank you ladies!!!

Clean, sizable room. Good experience checking ing and asking for food recommendations. As I messed up on knowing exactly where we needed to be for another grands ballgame, I can't really speak to location, though the hotel was easily accesed.

We had a wonderful stay! The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was clean, beds very comfy and the location was a perfect location. Easy access to downtown. We will definitely book our next stay in Savannah here!

This property is the true definition of a roach motel. Both figuratively and literally. First we noticed that there were roaches in the bathroom. As the night progressed we saw roaches in and around the refrigerator and then saw them crawling the wall. We called the front desk to report the problem and the call was transferred to the Operations Manager. After explaining the problem with the roaches, she asked "what do you want me to do about it?" She then asked to inspect the room. Upon her arrival she immediately claimed that there were no roach problem in the hotel although we shared pictures of those that we saw and exterminated. She became very rude and dismissive of our concerns. To add insult to injury, after leaving the room she called the police to have us trespassed from the property. The roaches that were crawling were incomparable to the roach that poised as a operations manager. Holiday inn and Suites do better.

Overall great stay. The stairwell and hallways did sometimes have a marijuana odor which was not pleasant. But staff was friendly, and room was great!

Friday 7/25/25 late afternoon (wish we could remember her name) Our check in was seamless with the super nice lady at the front desk. We came to her several times with questions and requests and she was cheerful and responsive every single time. Saturday 7/26/25 11am Definitely remember this one's name (Jasmine) because she was so unhelpful and just flat out rude when we asked her where we would find the nearest Walmart. We were clearly a bother to her. She told us to Google it. Not good service at all. Brought the hotel's service score down from what would have been a 10/10.
