17 Hundred 90 Inn consistently receives positive feedback for its historic ambiance, excellent food, and friendly service. Guests particularly appreciate the live piano music and convenient location in Savannah’s historic district. While some rooms may show their age, the overall experience is considered memorable and enjoyable.
Well this is a special place indeed. We stopped in the bar first and the experience was lovely and fun. The hostess advised us o an available table ahead of our reservations. She was wonderful. Katie was our server. She knew the menu backwards and forwards and was a terrific. Food was superb and the pianist who played period music rom that era added a special touch in this historic space. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful evening.
I had a wonderful weekend at this inn! The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the inn was convenient to everything. We walked everywhere we went during our stay, and the food at the restaurant was amazing! For anyone addicted to TV, it was small, but it was sufficient for what little TV we watched and did not in any way detract from our enjoyment of this place! We will definitely visit here on our next trip to Savannah!
We didn't stay at the inn, but stopped in here to eat dinner. It was a fantastic experience. The restaurant is beautiful and feels old and cozy. The service was perfect. They also had live piano which we really appreciate and enjoyed. We had some of the best pasta and oysters Rockefeller of our lives. No complaints. Can't wait to go again.
We stayed in room 301 and had dinner 2 night at the restaurant. The room was cozy and comfortable. The food and service was excellent. Got to visit with the owner and he was super friendly and took time to tell us about the Inn. We felt it was in walking distance to see the sights of Savannah. I would definitely stay here again!
Stayed here in Room 204 because I’ve always wanted to stay at a haunted place. No paranormal activity experienced but the place was quite nice, although old but that’s to be expected. Staff were extremely helpful and kind. The restaurant was delicious, recommend the lamb and complimentary biscuits and coming on days when the pianist is there. He definitely makes the restaurant atmosphere all that better and happily takes recommendations and interacts with guests. Our server was a sweetheart!
Spent 2 nights at the inn and ate dinner both nights in the restaurant. The inn shows it's age, but everything works and we were very comfortable. No paranormal experience. The food is delicious. I recommend the shrimp and grits appetizer. The lamb is very tasty as well.
We went here for my in-laws' 55th anniversary and it went without a hitch! Our server for the evening was welcoming and helped take a bunch of pictures as well as providing impeccable service. Food was lovely and generous! Ambience was on point. Only gripe I had was that there was no music. They did say they were gonna try and fix it and have the live pianist music filter through the room, I guess it didn't work out. We were a private party and had secured a private room next to the bar. We also had our own cake and they have a cutting fee. I can't remember how much but it wasn't a lot. Very accommodating. Overall a wonderful experience!
Amazing place to stay. We stayed in Guest house 1 eoom 301. It was a beautiful room with a hand paint mural on the ceiling. The bed was comfortable and the large soaking tub was great after walking the streets of Savannah. Its located in the historic district, 6 mins from river street and a block away from the Leopold's famous ice cream shop. The Inn has a great bar and restaurant. The crab stew is amazing and the honey glazed biscuits hit the spot. I highly recommend!
Nick was our server and he was professional, friendly and took excellent care of us Friday Night. The food was delicious. I ordered the 12oz NY Strip and my wife really enjoyed her Braised Lamb Shank. Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant, the piano player was a nice touch as well. The vibe and lighting was wonderful, just a delight. Give Nick some love management because he was seriously top notch and kind!
We had the best experience. The hotel, the restaurant and the bar all were so fun. Rebecca was our bartender and she was the Best!! The drinks she made and her hospitality were fantastic! Would highly recommend staying here on your Savannah adventure.
