The Element by Westin Pooler Savannah Airport consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, comfortable rooms with well-equipped kitchenettes, and friendly staff. Chef Gretchen is a standout for her exceptional service and personalized touches, creating a welcoming atmosphere. While minor operational hiccups have been noted, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive.
This hotel was amazing! The staff were friendly. Chef Gretchen was wonderful. She made me a gluten free breakfast each morning and it was delicious. She was so kind. The rooms are clean with very comfortable beds. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if we are ever in the area again.
We recently stayed at the Element Savannah Airport and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, but what really stood out was the hospitality during breakfast. Chef Gretchen was exceptional. She greeted every guest warmly and made everyone feel as though she were their personal chef. She was gracious, attentive, and took the time to speak with each person, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made the morning start off perfectly. It is rare to encounter someone who brings that level of genuine hospitality to their work. Gretchen truly elevated the experience for all of the guests.
I want to commend this hotel and its staff for outstanding service. As a Marriott Titanium Elite member, I have stayed in a LOT of hotels. The staff at this hotel was super. Without exception, they went out of their way to be helpful. When we were unloading the car, Alenia came running out with a cart for us. Gretchen in the kitchen was so courteous and helpful, and I enjoyed listening to her interactions with the children who were ordering French toast. During the evening, we wanted some tea and were about to use the hot water container in the lobby—the night front desk person hurried out and said that water might not be hot enough, and went to get us some from the kitchen. Everyone we met went above and beyond and it was such a pleasant experience. The manager has done a great job hiring!
My husband and I have enjoyed our stay while he was here for business. The staff is welcoming and helped with any questions we had. I really enjoyed the hot breakfast that was made to order and the chef was so sweet. Everything is clean and the rooms are very cozy. If we have to come back to the area we will be staying here if rooms are available.
This hotel is so cute & clean! Such a hidden gem for east coast travels. Brand new, very accommodating. The kitchenette is such a great addition to brighten up the usual hotel room amenities, especially with a dishwasher, larger fridge, dishes & cookware. Had an issue with the computer & reservation glitching/rate misunderstanding but the manager was extremely helpful and got it taken care of the very next morning at checkout. Would absolutely stay again!
We stay in the area frequently since we are from the area and visit family. The 2 queen room fit our family's needs very well. Hotel is very nice, not loud, and service was great. We will be staying here again soon! We also felt the pet fee was reasonable. Price was great for the quality!
Pillows Breakfast Cleanliness Everything was PERFECT Emanuel has a great sense of humor, Thanks ?????
Good: hotel is very clean, the rooms are very clean and have a great kitchenette in them. Staff very friendly and helpful. The blinds keep light out really well. Very quiet because of location. High flow flush toilets Bad: room design is flawed. The bed and tv are switched so that the bed is directly in front of the door. When you open the door the first thing you see is the bed. So if you have someone in bed and the other person has to leave the room as soon as the door is open the person in bed is completely exposed to the hallway and anyone walking by along with the light from the hallway, the light from the hallway is always coming in under the door directly into the person in beds face, and it increases the ability to hear any noise in the hallway. The air did not work well so even set at 65 I still had to sleep on top of the covers and woke up sweating, which once again if someone had left the room while I was asleep and someone walked by they could see me laying there asleep on top of the covers. The tv did not work. When turned on the sound worked and the Marriott Home Screen worked however anything you selected like the streaming or TV would not load and all you could watch was the Home Screen.
Stayed in the double queen studio with a sofa bed, which was perfect for a family. Check-in was easy, the hotel was clean, and the room had plenty of space. Breakfast was set to start at 6:30 a.m.; while the continental items were available on time, the hot food didn’t come out until about 45 minutes later. The breakfast attendant was a bit curt, which took away slightly from the experience. Overall, a comfortable stay, but breakfast service could use some improvement.
The hotel itself is very nice and clean. The check-in process was a bit of a pain the two times we have stayed as it appears the staff is still learning the systems with the hotel only being a few weeks old. That’s certainly understandable. However, there doesn’t seem to be an understanding from other guests that this is a pet-friendly hotel. It’s not enjoyable to be verbally assailed by another guest when you are just walking your dog to go outside. Perhaps some signage to remind folks that it is a pet-friendly location and not to berate other guests would help.
